Children at St Pauls

Bringing small children to church need not be a stressful experience.  Don’t worry if your children make a noise or want to run around. If they need to let off steam you can use the crèche.  There are also toys and books in the children’s corner at the back of the church.  The crèche is staffed by at least two helpers and meets next to the church hall while the older children have their teaching groups.  You are welcome to stay with your child or leave them to play while you return to the service.  We will call you immediately if your child is unhappy.

You can meet the crèche helpers in the children’s corner when you arrive.  Please let us know if you need any help during the service.  There are nappy changing facilities in the disabled toilet in the church hall and children’s drinks are served at the front of church straight after the service.

Children can join Sparklers when they turn three years old and stay with us until they finish year 1 at school. We meet during our 10.30 service at Warwick road to pray, play, sing and learn from the Bible in all sorts of ways and make brilliant craft. We meet every week except when there is an all age service.

Spotlight meets during the morning service at Warwick Road each week except the first Sunday of each month (when there is an all-age service) and is for Children from Year 2 to year 6. The children participate in the main service for 15-20 minutes then go down to the hall for Spotlight. Activities include; exploring the Bible together games crafts dramas and quizzes. LIGHTHOUSE is our after school club, meeting at Prescott Avenue on Thursday afternoons. More details from Jeannette.
