WHO WE ARE
St. Paul’s is one of five Church of England Parishes in Banbury. A congregation has met in the Warwick Road church since the middle of the 19th Century. In the 1960s a second congregation was established at the top of Prescott Avenue, in the Bretch Hill housing estate.
We are an evangelical church and we aim to preach and teach the Good News of God’s grace, communicating this unchanging message in a way that connects to the society in which we live today. We firmly believe that our town and our country need Jesus Christ.
Purpose
Our purpose is to honour God the father by :
Living ourselves in the light of Christ
Caring for each other in the love of Jesus
Reaching out to others with the life of Christ
all in the power of the Holy Spirit.
