A Warm Welcome
Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about St Paul's.

We are one church, meeting as two church families: one at St Paul’s Warwick Road and one at St Paul’s Bretch Hill.
Each congregation has its own character and community, but wherever you join us, you’ll find the same commitment to teaching the Bible, sharing the good news of Jesus, and helping people grow in their relationship with God.
We’d love you to join us on a Sunday
When do we meet?
Sunday services are held each Sunday:
-
10.30am - St. Paul’s Warwick Road Morning Service
-
10.30am - St Paul's Bretch Hill Morning Service
-
6pm - St Paul's Warwick Road Evening Service
Where do we meet?
St Paul's Warwick Road, OX16 2AN
Parking:
There is plenty of free on-street parking available on the streets near to the church building. We'd ask that you please park carefully, taking care not to obstruct any driveways. We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to find parking.
Accessibility:
There is wheelchair access and a sound loop at Warwick Road for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Welcome Team know on your arrival and they will help you to get set up. There is also a disabled toilet available (located in the hall at the end of the path). If you have a disabled parking badge you can park outside the church on Warwick Road.
St Paul's Bretch Hill, meeting at the Sunshine Centre, Edmunds Road, OX16 0PJ

Parking: There is a large car park adjacent to the Centre and it is on a local bus route.
Accessibility: There is wheelchair access and a disabled toilet available.
What should I expect when I come to a service?
You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go. During the service we will sing some hymns and songs, join in with prayers led from the front, listen to a reading from the bible and a sermon from the bible passage. We also share news and notices (about various opportunities and things going on in the life of the church).
At Warwick Road we serve tea, coffee, and biscuits after the service and at Bretch Hill we serve refreshments during the service. This time provides a great way to meet people, or simply take time to find your bearings. There is no charge for the refreshments.

What is there for children and young people?
At St Paul's Warwick Road, we run a great programme for children of all ages during our 10.30am service.
All our group leaders have been safely recruited, with DBS checks and references.
-
Crèche (Babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers)
-
Sparklight (Reception to Year 6)
-
Laser (Year 7 to Year 13)
Children stay with their parent(s) or responsible adults at the start of the service. We include them as much as we can because we really value worshipping God all together as a church family!
All the groups meet in the hall, which is found at the end of the path beside the main church building. When the start time for the groups is announced, please accompany your children down to the hall.
The children’s group activities vary depending on age but they always include a friendly welcome, bible stories, age-appropriate teaching, and prayer, and will also often involve music, craft, drama, fun games, and/or free play.
For more details please feel free to contact: children@stpaulsbanbury.org.uk
At St Paul's Bretch Hill, we don't have separate groups for children, we all stay together as one big family. Children of all ages (and their noise!) are always welcome.
We have some activity bags for young children, and resources for drawing, colouring and puzzles related to the bible reading for older children who want them.
There is plenty of space and we don't mind young children wandering around.

Getting Connected

Grow Groups
While Sundays are a great way to meet new people, it is often in smaller gatherings that you can really get to know someone. Being part of one of our small groups, known as Grow Groups, allows you to make new friends, share together, and support each other. We have a variety of groups that meet throughout the week, during the day and the evening.
We also run Christianity Explored courses for those who'd like to find out more about the Christian faith in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Serving and Volunteering
If you do make your home with us and want to get involved in the life of the church you can join a serving team in time. We like to let people get settled in first!
Other Ministries
We also run the following ministries:
-
Engine Room (a ministry for the men of St Paul's)
-
The Hive (a ministry for the women of St Paul's)
-
Shine! (a service for adults with additional needs and their carers)
