Introducing our speaker - Julian Bidgood

Julian is the minister of St James’ Barkham, one of a family of four churches in the Wokingham area, where he has served for the past 18 years.
He’s married to Angela and they have four children aged between 13 and 23.
Growing up in North London/Hertfordshire, Julian carries the lifelong burden of supporting Tottenham Hotspur F.C., though he was also wonderfully blessed to grow up attending a church where the gospel was clearly taught, becoming a Christian in his late teens.
After a brief spell writing comedy, he was encouraged to explore Christian ministry, serving in a couple of churches before training at Oak Hill College (where he met Dan!).
Alongside his devotion to Spurs, Julian enjoys tennis and certain kinds of musical theatre.
Most of all, he loves opening up the Bible and is really looking forward to spending the weekend with us.
